Smoked Gouda Mashed Potatoes
These smoked gouda mashed potatoes are make from gold potatoes, and are a great side dish for any meal!

- 2 lbs. yellow/gold potatoes
- 4 oz. smoked gouda grated
- 1/4 C. milk
- 3 tbsp. butter unsalted
- 1 1/2 t. kosher salt
- 1/4 t. black pepper
Peel potatoes and cut into quarters.
Boil potatoes in large pot at a rolling boil until tender, about 15 minutes.
In a bowl, combine potatoes, cheese and butter and mash with potato masher.
Incorporate milk, salt and pepper, and continue mashing until desired consistency is reached.
