Whole Pig Roast [DF, GF]

If you ever wanted to know how to do a backyard pig roast, look no further.

My friend Davis prepared an amazing feast for his 50 closest friends over Memorial Day Weekend. I thought it might be a helpful tutorial for a 4th of July pig roast or other summer get togethers, so I asked him to share about it! The recipe card at the bottom has only the most basic instructions for cooking, so you’ll need to read all of his post to know exactly what to do! (There is a gratuitous amount of photos in this post, for your benefit. It’s a combination of photos taken by Davis during prep, and me, during the party!)
